Havenwood Subdivision, is a Planned Urban Development (PUD) of single family, owner occupied, upscale residences that was developed by South Shore Properties in the mid 1990’s in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Each lot is governed by a set of restrictive covenants. With the PUD status, Havenwood is a private community with responsibility for all common areas, streets, and other related costs shared by each of the homeowners. It is governed by Restrictive Covenants as established by the Developer and is part of every parcel of every title to property within the subdivision, and is on file at the Lake County Indiana Government Center.
