Havenwood Homeowners Association Building Permit
Application Guidelines

Any additions to your property must first be given written approval through a building permit by the Havenwood Building committee (See restrictive covenants for more information). Our Building Committee only ensures, by signing the Havenwood Permit that you are not in violation of any of the Restrictive Covenants and/or By-Laws. Cedar Lake will give final approval.

The steps for an improvement to your property are as follows:

1. Print a copy of the building permit provided on this web site. –Havenwood Homeowner Association Building Permit Request Form
2. Return Three copies of each of the following to one of the Havenwood Building Committee members listed at the bottom of this page:
   1. Completed Building Permit.
   2. Plot of survey identifying location of improvement including measurements.
   3. Plans, sketches or drawings of improvement.
3. Once the Havenwood Building Committee has approved the permit application, and two building committee members have signed off (please allow 3-5 business days for this process), two of the copies will be returned to you to take to the Town of Cedar Lake to file for a Town Permit.
